         Nikon 1V2 is features a interchangeable lens with new flagship mirrorless camera. With a first look of compact body, good performance and excellent image quality. If Compared to its predecessor model Nikon 1 V1, there have several improvements firstly it has 42 percent more resolution, secondly Nikon CX formal sensor have 14.2 million pixel resolution, compared to 10 MP resolution of V1. And Nikon1V2 has a specific built-in flash, which is very useful and comfortable for taking indoor shots, while the V1 no built-in flash so the camera needs an external light sources.

             

          Another advantage of Nikon 1V2 is it has higher light sensitivity or ISO if compare to the maximum of V1 nikon 1V2 has ISO maximum 6400 while V1 has only 3200. Not only that Nikon 1V2  is about 10 percent lighter in weight with 270 grams(very light) compared to her older model has 294 g. After test The Nikon 1V2 shows me very good in performance. Why? It was instantly ready to take the first shot when the camera turned on power or in just about 1.2 seconds(only). And the amaze is the digital camera can be turned on automatically when you release the 1 Nikkor VR 10-30 mm lens from its locked position.

            

       With my family At my house I decided to retest the camera, I swear I don’t feel the shutter lag at all as its shutter lag was timed at 0.2 seconds. The performance of the shot to next shot time take only 1.6 seconds on the condition don’t turn on the HDR(high dynamic range) recording option.

            Nikon 1V2 has a special very fast and able to swift auto focus due to Nikon’s original advanced hybrid AF system which automatically selects an appropriate AF system from phase-detection AF or contrast-detect AF depend on shooting situations. With The phase detection AF is pretty good and works well for shooting fast-moving action but contrast-detect AF is very suits for capturing small details of beautifully lit night portrait. 

      The hybrid system provides 73 focus areas in phase-detection AF and 135 focus areas in contrast-detect AF, The results make the auto focus system very accurate and pleasing.

          
      V2’s CMOS sensor has a crop factor 2.7. So its 1 Nikkor VR 10-30 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, which I have been tested the camera with, has the focal length of 27-81 mm in 35mm photography. I also retested the camera on 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110 mm  f/3.8-5.6 lens, whose 35 mm equivalence is 81-297 mm. During the test in my daugther open bed-room, my wife and I were very please with the image quality shot out. The 10-30 mm lens captured beautiful landscape photos. I tested again using the 30-110 mm lens to capture close-up shot of our cat in the kitchen and could capture a lot of beautiful, sharp and very clears.

             Or you turning HDR option on, Nikon 1V2 able to captured scenes in high contrast on light setting very beautiful with excellent details in both highlighted and shadow areas. The camera perform captured vibrant colors and sharp and clean details even it in condition of low light or at night time. Portraits could also be captured beautifully. The strong point is that nikon 1V2 has a 0.47 inch color TFT LCD 1440k dot high resolution electronic viewfinder with an approximately 100 percent frame coverage. The electronic viewfinder is very useful in a bright environment where an LCD monitor might normally be monitor when you are using the viewfinder and vice versa.

            The Nikon 1V2 is easy to use but anyway you will need to read its manual to get familiarized and accuracy with the symbols used on the display first. After take a read I wish the camera came with short brief explanation of each function so that the manual sometime might not be needed. Although it has a strong and compact body, Nikon 1V2 provides you full control like another DSLR camera. There is a mode dial for you to selecting eight modes such as Auto mode, Programmed auto, Shutter-priority auto, Aperture-priority, Manual, Advanced movie mode, Motion Snapshot mode and Best moment capture mode.

            Want To make it easier to access functions of each mode, the nikon 1V2 has an F(or feature) button. It together work with a command dial next to it to select available features of specific mode you want. This is very useful for the Live image control feature of Auto mode. You can use the Feature button to control whatever you wish such as - The brightness, control contrast or “D-lighting”, A depth of field or “Background softening or freeze or blur motion while previewing the effects on the monitor live.

            As this result, when you let nikon 1V2 select various parameters to suit the lighting condition, you can also have control by using various effects. You can also use the F button access parameters in the P,S,A and M modes, such as metering, white balance, ISO sensitivity and Focus mode. Motion Snapshot also good idea an interesting mode. Under this mode, when the shutter is release, the camera records a still image and about 1.6s of movie footage.

            When the “Motion Snapshot” is viewed on the camera, the movie record will play back in slow motion over approximately 4 second, followed by the still image. The best moment capture mode also a useful one. It has two sub-modes slow view and Smart Photo Selector. In slow view mode, the camera rapidly captures a series of 40 frames. While the shutter-release button is half pressed, the camera will shows you each frame in slow motion on the electronic viewfinder or the LCD monitor continuously, as a result you can choose the best moment to extract for a still image by pressing the shutter-release button all the way. 

       In Smart Photo Selector, the camera will capture a sequence of scenes before and after you press the button. Base on the image composition and motion, it will then automatically select the best shot and four reserves. The nikon 1V2  always captures good quality Full HD video.  The camera has a pretty good battery long life, result in capable of capturing about 300 shots per one full charge.
